About the event
The Soulful Sister Collective is happy to present Women In Wellness: An afternoon of movement and meaningful conversation with Boston industry leading wellness professionals. Join us at Boston's premier music venue, Big Night Live for an afternoon of movement and meaningful conversation:
Nicole, kicks things off with a high energy dance party. If you've never taken class with Nicole, you are in for a treat! Her contagious energy will have you bumpin' all day long. Therlande's calm, cool and collected energy follows, with a cool down, rooted in softness, that will leave your body and mind at ease.
We'll kick things off with 45 minutes of high energy dance fitness, designed to get your body moving and heart rate up. Wind down with a grounding yoga cool down, that leaves you centered and refreshed. Then settle in for a panel conversation featuring wellness professionals who have made an impact in their field.
This event invites everyone who's interested in a welcoming and safe place to move their body and hear from some of your favorite fitness professionals. Come ready to sweat, breathe and be inspired ❤️🔥

Women in Wellness Panel:
We're excited to partner with Ashley Mitchell, founder of the Further Forward Podcast and The Courage Campaign. Ashley Mitchell is a multi-passionate creator and toddler mom. Throughout her life, she has had the unique opportunity to experience a myriad of physical and mental training philosophies and has consistently shown the ability to dissect self-limiting beliefs and trauma to summon grit, fortitude, and creativity. Ashley currently works in several capacities including fitness instructor, wellness facilitator and speaker, and most proudly, runs The Courage Campaign, a non-profit founded with her husband Mark.
Ashley leads the Women in Wellness panel, we're you'll get the opportunity to hear from:
Aubrey (she/her) is a Public Health Practitioner and a comprehensive Pilates teacher. As founder of Brilates Body LLC, a mobile Pilates studio, she leads with the mission of making Pilates accessible to BIPOC and marginalized communities while reducing stress and empowering future selves through mindful movement and intentional breathing.
Bernie Levv: Founder of @levvco, a black woman-owned wellness resource hub for women &
CO-Founder & COO @levvandjane. Bernie is a Certified Pilates Instructor, who specializes in reformer and mat Pilates. Known for her clear, intentional cueing and mindful guidance, Bernie’s sessions blend the precision of classical Pilates with a modern, contemporary flair. Her teaching style emphasizes alignment, strength, and flow creating an experience that is both challenging and restorative. Each class reflects her passion
for helping clients move with greater awareness and ease.
Therlande: Therlande aka Thersday is a yoga instructor, wellness curator, and creative producer whose work gently weaves movement, music, and intention into spaces of care and connection. A Berklee College of Music alum and 200 hour certified yoga instructor, her journey into yoga found her when her health took a turn and a lifestyle change became necessary. What began as a personal act of healing became a life changing practice, one that reshaped how she listens to her body and moves through the world. Through her work with Everyday Is Thursday and SIDE Presents, Therlande creates experiences rooted in softness, honesty, and community, holding space for others to slow down, reconnect, and return to themselves.
Nicole: Nicole has been dancing since she could walk(probably even before that too). She caught the fitness bug 12yrs ago, after taking her first Zumba class and got licensed shortly thereafter! Her dedication to bringing Zumba Fitness classes to a diverse clientele across New England inspired her to build her resume with barre, HIIT, cycle, personal training and more! In any Nicole class, you must follow her two important rules, Sweat and Smile!

Do I need to bring a mat?
No. Mats will not be used for this event
Can I take this class if I am new to Dance/Yoga?
Absolutely! This event is designed with all levels in mind.
Can I take this class if I am pregnant?
We recommend consulting with your doctor or OBGYN first, especially if you are starting something new. Your activity levels prior to and during pregnancy play a role in determining what is appropriate for you. Your doctor will be able to provide the best recommendation.
What should I wear?
Wear something that you feel comfortable moving in! Sneakers and layers are recommend for this event.
What is parking like?
Street parking is limited in the area. We recommend Spot Hero for best available options. The closest train stops are North Station & Hynes Convention Center.
What happens if I purchase a ticket & am unable to make it?
