Welcome to the Soulful Sister Collective! We're a wellness community dedicated to the inclusion, appreciation and empowerment of Black Women. Grab your camera or phone and join us for a leisurely photo walk, around Harvard University's Arnold Arboretum. Together we'll explore our surroundings, learn how to spot great photo opportunities in everyday scenes, and socialize with our sista's! No prior photography experience is needed. Curiosity encouraged 🌸
Meet Marcia Williams:
Marcia Williams is a Boston-based photographer, visual artist, and creative entrepreneur. As the founder of PhotosbyMarcia LLC and Expressive Art Studios, she creates portrait photography and mixed-media artwork that blends digital illustration with photography to celebrate culture, creativity, and connection, and she hosts monthly meetups for creatives. Marcia is also the coordinator of the Boston Muslim Run Club, a community-centered initiative that brings together Muslims across Greater Boston through wellness, movement, and meaningful connection. The club creates an inclusive space for runners and walkers of all levels while encouraging community building, accountability, and representation in fitness and outdoor spaces.
