About the event
Welcome to the Soulful Sister Collective! A community and sisterhood, dedicated to the inclusion, appreciation and empowerment of Black Women. This December, we're excited to offer an elevated & truly special fitness experience with comprehensively trained Pilates instructor, Bernie Levv:
Bernie Levv Maloney, (Certified Pilates Instructor): Specializes in reformer and mat Pilates. Known for her clear, intentional cueing and mindful guidance, Bernie’s sessions blend the precision of classical Pilates with a modern, contemporary flair. Her teaching style emphasizes alignment, strength, and flow creating an experience that is both challenging and restorative. Each class reflects her passion for helping clients move with greater awareness and ease.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is an exercise system that improves strength, flexibility, and balance. Pilates combines breath, movement, and proper body mechanics to enhance physical and mental awareness of how the body moves and feels.

Can I take this class if I am new to Pilates?
Absolutely! Class is designed with all levels in mind. No experience needed.
Can I take this class if I am pregnant?
While this is a gentle practice, we recommend talking with your doctor or OBGYN first, especially if you are starting something new. Your activity levels prior to and during pregnancy play a role in determining what is appropriate for you. Your doctor will be able to provide the best recommendation.
What should I wear?
Wear something that you feel comfortable moving in. Check out our mood boards above, for outfit ideas & color inspo!
Do I need to bring a mat?
No! Mats will be provided.
What is parking like?
Your ticket includes up to 2 1/2 hours of validated parking in the garage connected to Life Time. After two hours, parking is $5 per hour. Please avoid the open parking lot adjacent to the building if you plan to be at the facility for more than an hour, as towing is prevalent. Prior to leaving the facility, please validate your ticket at the front desk.
